Playwright
Tim Giugni
has written and adapted many stories for the stage including "There's
a Nightmare in My Closet", "Alice in Wonderland"
and "The Tell Tale Heart". Tim enjoys creating
new works but finds that working inside of another author's story
to be "exciting and interesting". "When you really
attempt to grasp what another writer was doing in a piece you
get the chance to work inside of their mind." Tim continues,
"This is especially exciting and interesting when the other
author has been dead for 100 plus years."
Set Designer
Monica Roxburgh
is a mask and puppet maker in Portland, Oregon. She was the first
person to realize the look and feel of "Waiting for a
Train" through a series of drawings early in 1999. Monica
has also designed puppets for Il Teatro Calamari's "Hello
Show".
About the Company

it's founding, Il Teatro Calamari has pursued theatrical excellence
on the stage with productions that use puppetry, mask and physical

yet the shows are suited for the entire family.
