William Holznagel

...has built and performed with puppets for the past twelve years. His building credits include Perseus, Ride the Red Mare, and The Reluctant Dragon (Tears of Joy Theatre), Blue, Mysteries of the Heart, and The Wild Child for which he won a Drammy Award (Signal Light Theatre andHand2Mouth Theatre), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Michael Curry Designs), Pinnochio (Olde World Puppet Theatre), and Cupid and Psyche (Willamette University). He has toured extensively with Tears of Joy Theatre in Baba Yaga and Alice in Wonderland and Il Teatro Calamari in Waiting for a Train for which he won the Best Actors Award in Bulgaria. As artistic director of Signal Light Theatre he is currently producing Hansel and Gretel and big.
